Abstract: The renewal of teacher preparation programs and following a policy of teacher selection and education is the cornerstone of education reform, because the quality of education cannot be better than that of teachers. Therefore, the development of teacher preparation programs was necessary to achieve the desired development in the educational system. Considering the importance of children with special needs and their right to receive a comprehensive education at a high level of quality, the state aimed to pass laws guaranteeing the rights of these children with special needs. The issuance of the right to these children is Ministerial Decree No. 42 of 2015. He stressed the need for educational assistant teacher/ shadow teacher with some cases that allow the school after the necessary tests to be accepted within the general education system, to ensure the optimal functioning of the educational integration process, it is necessary to prepare and qualify the shadow teacher to perform his role well and effectively, so in this research, some international experiences that were concerned with preparing and qualifying the shadow teacher and trying to benefit from them in preparing a proposed vision for a program to prepare the shadow teacher are presented.

Abstract: The media in its various forms is one of the most important means used in the upbringing of the individual, as it contributes to the formation of personal trends and convictions, through the dissemination of news, programs and dialogues that link the individual to the concerns and issues of his society, as the role of the media extends to the cultural and civilized dimension because of its association with the concept of identity and the concept of self and linking the individual to his culture. It acts as a guide to correct social practices and values. The media is considered a double-edged sword, as it can be a tool that helps the individual to form positive and integrated personal elements from the psychological, social and national aspects if it is used properly, and it may be the exact opposite of that to become a tool that poses a great threat to national identity and culture. And university media and its clear role in spreading sports awareness among Egyptian university students. This research paper also presents a number of suggestions and recommendations for spreading awareness of the importance of practicing sports activities among Egyptian university students.

Abstract: Individualised learning support to students has always been a challenge to educationists worldwide. This has been the case due to a number of factors where enrollment is high, course material is standardized and stable, and faculty resources are scarce which also include as lack of technological tools, heavy workloads and large student numbers (O’Donnell, et al 2013). This has not spared Mzuzu University in the area of student support in open and distance e-learning especially during teaching practicum. Teaching practicum is part of teacher education program at Mzuzu University where students studying education at this university are required to do in the actual classroom situation of various secondary schools in Malawi. ODeL student support at Mzuzu University during teaching practicum is generic which shows insensitivity to the heterogeneous ODeL students. Furthermore, ODeL students at Mzuzu University are heterogeneous in terms of age, socioeconomic status and work experience. This paper endeavors to explore best possible student support practices and procedures that should be put in place to make teaching practicum experiences stimulating, enriching and relevant to ODeL students as individuals. This paper draws on social development theory (Vygotsky, 1978). Data in this study was generated through a survey using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews to a purposively sampled participants of cohort2 (level 3) students studying through ODeL at Mzuzu University. Cohort 2 students is a second group of students to be enrolled into ODeL programs at Mzuzu University and did teaching practicum in 2015 in various secondary schools in Malawi. The study found that ODeL teaching practices at Mzuzu University in Malawi are too generic and need to be more responsive to the specific contexts in which the student teachers find themselves.

Abstract: The cornerstone of colleges and universities is moral education, which is also a fundamental requirement for personnel fostering. It is vital to implement the essential task of establishing morality education by comprehensively advancing the construction of "Courses for Ideological and Political Education". The most crucial link of the system of courses for ideological and political education is the specialized courses. It has become an urgent issue to be solved in the current ideological and political education in colleges and universities as to how to design and organize the courses for ideological and political education and bring the synergistic effect of moral education and the teaching activities of specialized courses into play. This article focused on ideological and political education in specialized courses of science and engineering. First, several common ideological and political elements, such as patriotism, integrity, philosophical thinking, and the spirit of scientific research, were summarized and elaborated, followed by the application in the immunology course of science and engineering major as case sharing. Moreover, several critical issues in implementing ideological and political education were discussed on this basis to improve teaching effects, which provides ideas for conducting ideological and political education in specialized courses of science and engineering.

Abstract: This study investigated the influence of Study Questions as Advance Organizers on Students’ Academic Achievement and Retention in Secondary School Physics in Mangu L. G. A., Plateau State. The research design is quasi experimental pretest, posttest and non-equivalent group of independent variables. The total population of students is 1,094 with male population of 787 and female population of 307 drawn from 11 secondary schools. The sample consisted of 97 students with 76 in the experimental and 21 in the control group while the instruments used for data collection was Physics Achievement Test (PAT) for both students’ achievement and retention in physics with a reliability coefficient of r=0.796. The tools used for the analysis and testing of hypotheses were descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation and the t-test for paired samples variables. The findings showed that students in the experimental group had higher achievement mean scores; students in the experimental group showed high retention ability and that there is a significant difference in the mean achievement score of students in the control and experimental group; there is a significant difference in the retention of students in the experimental group and after the entire treatment period of exposure to study questions. The study recommends among others, that; the ministry of education through the education resource center in plateau state, school administrators and the government provide adequate training and retraining of teachers to enhance their competence and mastery of how to use study question for effective teaching and learning process.

Girl Performances in EFL Learning in Benin: A Case Study of LMJF of Natitingou in the Region of Atacora

Abstract: Women and girls are expected to ensure their personal commitment, a pledge that goes through the principles of both equity and equality for women in all fields. Whenever EFL teachers develop strategies to enhance learners’ performances, girls and young women are to engage in decision-making processes. The fundamental objective of the current study is to examine and make an analytical comparison of the English learners’ performances of LMJF Natitingou in Benin. In addition to the moderate use of the Internet, I have addressed questionnaire to 88 students, 85 collected, the sample size is 70; 27 EFL teachers, 23 collected, the sample size is 22; and interviews conducted with 6 among them without forgetting the 2 inspectors (8 in total), the sample size is 8, through phone calls, Whatsapp, Facebook, Email, and face to face. The results obtained have been analyzed and transcribed. These results reveal that girls’ performances are globally lower than boys’ in Beninese secondary schools; however the case of LMJF of Natitingou is commendable and is worth imitating for the development of Beninese educational system. My suggestions towards young girls are mainly that they should be proud of themselves with no inferiority complex and fatal exploitation from men and boys so as to show female higher degree of wisdom.

Abstract: Students’ alternative frameworks and prior conceptions about interactions forces and/or Newton’s motion laws have been largely investigated. The various investigations clearly show that students very often fail to apply Newton’s laws of motion in general to everyday situations and third law in particular. Using a conventional notation for representing forces on diagrams, students were presented with questions on the interaction between two objects. and asked to represent in terms of Newton’s third law the two interacting forces in a variety of situations. The results show that complete understanding of Newton’s Third Law of motion is quite rare, and that some problems related to misunderstanding which force acts on each body. The use of the terms ‘action’ and ‘reaction’ in this specific context, compared with their general use, was also found to be misleading... This study highlights some of the serious difficulties students undergo with reciprocal interaction. It suggests that we should be more anxious about the teaching/learning process and the students overall understanding of this principle and that this understanding is underpinned by an understanding of the force concept. Suggestions were proposed for promoting conceptual change based on Posner et al proposal (1982). For this purpose, we propose in our work to analyse the difficulties of high school students in learning the reciprocal interaction principle, locate and identify the obstacles to overcome when dealing with real physical situations. To achieve this task, we have elaborated a questionnaire used to locate the fields of students' difficulties and identify possible causes. We carried by means of this questionnaire a survey (paper-pencil) by requesting a samples of (102) students in different high schools through the country. The analysis and the exploitation of investigation results have shown that students encounter serious difficulties in in dealing with this law.

Abstract: Training has been acknowledged as an important tool for equipping local leaders with knowledge and skills to enable them to perform their role as development agents in their communities. In view of that, this study sought to explore how training transformed the local leaders to become catalyst for development in the Birim North District in Ghana. The research design used in this study was the summative evaluation research which involved the post-test design. The cluster sampling method was used to select communities in the district where local leaders reside. Those who participated in the habitat training programme were sampled for the study. Data was collected using questionnaire which were personally administered. The findings of the study suggest that participants acquired knowledge of all leadership styles to enable them to adopt the most appropriate style to reflect conditions within their environment. Secondly, trainees learned about implementation and evaluation of programmes and projects. Additionally, most of the trainees learned the brainstorming technique to enhance participatory decision-making and social integration in their localities. Besides, trainees acquired knowledge about participatory techniques that make adults active participants. Again, the findings indicate that trainees acquired knowledge of group discussion as a technique for evaluating programmes and projects in the district. Additionally, the study revealed that local leaders acquired knowledge of friendliness and dialoguing to strengthen their human relations.
